My profession as a full-time studio potter would be even more difficult without collectors of my work. As a thank you, I will give such collectors a specially marked, one of a kind piece after 15 pieces are purchased directly from me or through one of the galleries that carries my work. If a collector purchases through a gallery, I’ll need to know the bottom marks of those pieces. Functional pieces (mugs, bowls, cups, etc.) are not included in the 15 piece count. The intricacy of your collector’s series piece is determined by the average sale price.The symbol “CS” will mark this rare series. These pieces are not available for purchase! The only way to acquire an example of this series is through collecting. I think this will give collecting my work an added dimension and serve the purpose of thanking those who invest in my work.
